4 970 cappuccinos were sold during the month of April, which translates into R 4 970 for the Pink Drive! Thank you so much for your support! This fundraising drive will continue until the end of May, so, if you’re looking for an excuse to treat yourself to one (or two!) of our award-winning cappuccinos, this is it!!

When you treat yourself to one of our award-winning cappuccinos during the months of April and May, you will be making a contribution to the Pink Drive, an official charity of the 2011 Comrades Marathon. We have pledged to donate R 1 for each and every cappuccino that we sell in the 2 months leading up to race day to this dynamic, non-profit organisation. The Pink Drive is committed to improving breast cancer awareness, education, and providing and offering services to women across South Africa, particularly to those who do not have access to information on breast health. Launch of our new menu

Our new menu was launched today, 16 December, amid much excitement from the Coffeeberry team and customers alike. The new menu focuses on the people who make Coffeeberry Cafe what it is – our fantastic Coffeeberry team and our loyal customers for whom a visit to Coffeeberry has become a weekly, or even daily, part of their lives. The new menu includes many of the long-standing Coffeeberry favourites, as well as some exciting new additions. You can get a sneak preview of the menu right here on our website , but, of course you will have to pay us a visit to enjoy the full experience!

Cappuccinos for Conservation

Congratulations to our Coffeeberry customers who managed to sip their way through 5 400 cappuccinos between 1 August and 11 September 2010, thereby contributing R 5 400 to the Wildlands Conservation Trust!

Con and Sue both took part in the Mont-aux-Sources Challenge on 11 September, which is a fundraiser for the Conservation Trust and this year focussed on raising funds for the highly endangered bearded vulture. Con and Sue pledged to donate R 1 for every cappuccino sold in the six weeks prior to the event to the Conservation Trust. This year’s 50 km ultra marathon Challenge took place in cold and wet conditions. Con and Sue both managed to complete the challenge well within the required time and were delighted to be able to make such a significant contribution to the project, thanks to the loyal support of their Coffeeberry customers.
